Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School Session With Ghana
On February 26, 2016, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. students gave multiple presentations to the students in Ghana.

On February 26, 2016, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. students gave multiple presentations to the students in Ghana. The presentations were power points and numerous videos on famous black astronauts, politicians, soldiers, and athletes.
In addition to famous black astronauts, politicians, soldiers, and athletes, the students also gave presentations about President’s Day. The presentation went into how President’s Day became a holiday and why it was very important to celebrate it.
After the President’s Day presentation, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. students gave a presentation about dinosaurs and prehistoric combats. This presentation used a video that showed dinosaurs engaged in brutal fights for survival. After the presentations, the Ghana students asked numerous questions to the Asbury Park students.
The q and a between both groups of students turned into multiple insightful class discussions.
