GHANA SESSION: JOINT DISCUSSION WITH PRESENTATIONS

On May 20, 2016, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Middle School students had a joint discussion with the teachers and students from Ghana.

Joint Ghana session discussion

The joint discussion dealt with creating a presentation that would take place on June 10.

Both the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School and Ghana students plan on having an interactive conference that would allow both sides to show their favorite sports, food, places, attractions, and entertainment.

Queen Liliuokalani, Planet X

In addition to the discussion, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School students did presentations on Queen Liliuokalani, Planet X (students from Ghana said that in the movie, The Fantastic Four, Planet X may have been used) Athens vs Sparta, Oregon Trail, the Battle of Thermopylae, D-Day Invasion, and what the Asbury Park students learned from project Ghana.
