Jacob Blake, the man who was shot by a Kenosha, WI police officer, has been released from the hospital and moved to a spine rehabilitation center.

Jacob Blake, the man who was shot in the back by a Kenosha, Wisconsin police officer, has been released from the hospital.

Next for Jacob Blake after being released from the hospital

He was moved to a spine rehabilitation center in Chicago.

What happened to Jacob Blake

Blake, 29, was shot in the back multiple times as he was getting into a car Aug. 23 as police with guns drawn were ordering him to stop.

The shooting made Blake partially paralyzed, according to his father.

Officer who shot

An attorney for Officer Rusten Sheskey, who fired seven times at Blake, has said Blake had a knife, and appeared to be preparing to drive away with his three children in the car.

Sheskey, 31, is on administrative leave while the state Department of Justice investigates the shooting.
