Ghana Session: Welcome Unheard Voices Magazine!
Just recently Keith and Chenelle Covin from Unheard Voices Magazine took the time out from their demanding schedules to participate in a videoconference with the students at the Solid Rock Foundation School in Ghana.

Just recently Keith and Chenelle Covin from Unheard Voices Magazine took the time out from their demanding schedules to participate in a videoconference with the students at the Solid Rock Foundation School in Ghana.
Presentation about the continent of Africa and the history of Ghana
To begin this session, the students from the Solid Rock Foundation gave them a presentation about the continent of Africa and the history of Ghana. The students spoke about the culture, politics, food, sports, and resources in Ghana. Once they were finished with their presentation, Keith and Chenelle were very grateful for the hard work the students put into explaining their country.
Founder of Unheard Voices Magazine speaks about the company
After the students presentation, Keith took the time to speak about how Unheard Voices Magazine was started. He explained that the communities in Long Branch, Neptune, and Asbury Park needed a voice because the local media would not write about the needs of these communities. In addition, Keith also mentioned that he wanted to help develop a better relationship between the communities and their local police departments.
Keith showed the students in Ghana the very first issue of Unheard Voices Magazine which was very much like a newspaper. Then explained how this evolved into the digital age through his talented daughter Chenelle. Chenelle transformed Unheard Voices into an online professional Magazine. Through the use of the internet, Unheard Voices Magazine could now be accessed by everyone in the world. Many students saw many postings relating to their Ghana sessions posted on Unheard Voices Magazine and they understand the importance of having such a voice.
Unheard Underground
Keith also mentioned during his presentation about Unheard Underground in which young talented artists who could sing were able to post videos of themselves and get recognized. Furthermore, Keith mentioned how Chenelle produced a sitcom called Dirty Laundry which every episode could be seen on Youtube. I recommended that they should check it out because the show was very entertaining.
In closing, myself and the students from the Solid Rock Foundation in Ghana would like to thank Keith and Chenelle for taking their time out and presenting Unheard Voices Magazine. In addition, I would like to say I am a proud member of the Magazine and without them my voice would not of been heard either.
