Griner took a feed from Kimetria Hayden under the basket, stretching out her right arm and throwing down a slam dunk like the men.
It was an amazing athletic play. Her dunk reminded of Tim Duncan of the Spurs as the crowd with into a frenzy.
She went up with ease as she exemplified dominating dunking talents that no other women’s basketball player in the world possessed the ability to do.
Griner became the second woman college player to dunk in an NCAA tournament. Former Tennessee star Candace Parker dunked twice in 2006. Dunking is a not an unfamiliar territory as she has dunked through out her career.
Brittney Griner’s phenomenal play netted her 25 points against Florida on Tuesday night, helping national title favorite Baylor remain undefeated this season and advance to the Sweet 16.
