MEAC Conference Champions Norfolk State University has won in an upset game against second-seeded Missouri.

Spartans Kyle O’Quinn led the team with 26 points and 14 rebounds, and made several huge plays in the closing minutes to help the team win, 86-84 on Friday in the West Regional.

Norfolk State become the fifth No. 15 seed to beat a No. 2 and the first since fellow conference member Hampton knocked off Iowa State in 2001.
