Entertainer Donald Glover continues to soar. The Childish Gambino rapper, actor, and so much more has landed the role of Simba in the live action remake of The Lion King.
Legendary James Earl Jones will reprise the role of Mufasa in the film, which will be directed by Jon Favreau.
Just like Favreau’s remake of The Jungle Book, The Lion King will use CGI technology and green screen to transform the beloved 1994 animated movie into a live-action movie.
