Unheard Voices’ One Mic One Night Talent Showcase a Success on the Jersey Shore
Unheard Voices held its first ever talent showcase on the Jersey Shore on October 5th.

Unheard Voices held its first talent showcase One Mic One Night on the Jersey Shore on October 5th.
Hosted by Todd Stathum and music by D.J. Bundie, the Jersey Shore community came out to witness history and watch performers from different parts of the nation pour their heart and soul on the stage. The event was nothing short of amazing with performances by Jason Rogers & ALC, DanO, Tigga, Reeves, Stable of SMG, Tickey Boom Boom of SMG, El Maroc Band, A.R. Stylez, Gully Time, The Party, Drea, and Royal.
Jason Rogers & ALC blessed the stage with soulful gospel music to get the night started. DanO, a Nigerian native now living in South Jersey, brought the motherland feel to the Jersey Shore. Tigga, a dynamic poet, kept the crowd engaged with powerful poems that left you thinking outside the box.
Reeves blessed the audience with his sultry R&B sound. Stable then later Tickey Boom Boom of SMG turned it up a whole notch with raw hip-hop and that New York appeal.
The El Maroc Band, of the Jersey Shore, brought the house down with funk music. “Let’s get funked up for life” they say. Brooklyn, NY native A.R. Stylez shared some of his life story and took it personal with “Picture Me Rolling”.
Long Branch, NJ native Gully Time closed out the night of featured performers with a mix of hip-hop and Jersey club music.
The segment ended with open micers The Party, Drea, and Royal riding it out until the end and blessing the audience with their memorable performers.
The “One Mic, One Night” Talent showcase gives performers a chance to be seen and heard and opportunity to network. In addition, all performers received a branding starter kit with Unheard Voices to help them continue to elevate their careers.
We would like to thank Theodore Drakeford and The Adam Bucky James Community Center for allowing us to have our first showcase at their facility.
The next showcase will take place in New York City. Please keep up with Unheard Voices via Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram to get the latest updates
