‘Hunger Games’ stars react to racism
Few fans of the movie ‘The Hunger Games” went on a twitter rant about Thresh and Rue being played by black actors. The actors respond to the racist tweets.
Recently, there were racist tweets aimed at the African American stars of the new film The Hunger Games.
Racism aimed at Hunger Games stars
Few fans of the movie were surprised to see Thresh and Rue being played by Black actors. Meanwhile the book describes the characters as “dark-skin”. They lashed out on twitter in a racist rant about the movie.
