Why Not: Idris Elba As 007! That Would Be Cool!
Over the media there were rumors of Idris Elba being considered for British Secret Service Agent James Bond, 007. Idris Elba denied the rumors.
Over the media there were rumors of Idris Elba being considered for British Secret Service Agent James Bond, 007.Idris Elba denied the rumors. However, this would be an awesome choice for James Bond.
Idris Elba as James Bond
Idris Elba, a great actor, was in some memorable movies such as Beasts of No Nation, Thor, and most recent The Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Picking him for James Bond would be something new and I think he would be great in the role. I am one of many who feel that different movie or comic book characters should be altered to keep their franchises interesting.
Having the same thing over and over again gets boring. For instance, it was cool seeing Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (Human Torch). In addition, it was cool seeing Shameik Moore play the voice and character of Miles Morales (another version of Spider-Man) in the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Having change with characters was always cool. So my point being Idris Elba should pursue this part as James Bond.
He was fun in his most recent movie, The Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. It would be fun to see him as James Bond. When you think about it, have him go against a new version of the villain Jaws (check out The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker) or master villain Blofeld. The ideas keep on going.
So why not! I vote for Idris Elba as the new 007!
