Live Inside The Courtroom: The George Zimmerman trial continues
The second week of testimony continues today in the infamous George Zimmerman second degree murder trial
The second week of testimony continues today in the infamous George Zimmerman second degree murder trial. Police, first responders, security personnel, neighbor eye-witnesses, and a friend who talked to Martin moments before he died all took the stand last week.
The jury heard a frantic 911 call and saw graphic photos of Trayvon Martin’s dead body. They also saw evidence including the bag of skittles Trayvon had on him and Zimmerman’s gun.
Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer, is charged with second-degree murder. He claims he shot Martin in self-defense after the teen attacked him and slammed his head into a sidewalk.
