Black History Month celebrates Vietnam Veteran George Reed. George Reed served his country proud during the Vietnam War.
George Reed served his country proud during the Vietnam War. Currently, he is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The VFW post he belongs to is located in Asbury Park, NJ. Over the years Reed took the time out to attend Veterans and Memorial day ceremonies at the Asbury Park Middle School.
During these assemblies, Reed shared his experience as well as always stressed peace in the world. He encouraged students to always get along and help one another in a time of need.
As the country celebrates Black History Month, George Reed’s courageous service during the Vietnam War inspires us all. Let’s us remember that he was willing to give his life in order to protect the United States of America.
