Queen Latifah to be inducted into New Jersey Hall of Fame
According to NJ.com, the Newark, NJ native will be inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame this June. The emcee-turned-actress will join Bruce Willis, Martha Stewart, and Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Franco Harris.

The Newark/East Orange native will join Bruce Willis, Martha Stewart, and Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer Franco Harris.
She started her career as an emcee in the 80s with her Flava Unit crew.
Her work in film, television, and music has earned her a Golden Globe, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Image Awards, a Grammy Award, six additional Grammy nominations, an Emmy Award nomination and an Academy Award nomination.

Latifah is also a spokesperson for CoverGirl cosmetics. She represents her own line of cosmetics for women of color called the CoverGirl Queen Collection. Latifah has also launched a perfume line called “Queen.”
