Unheard Voices is looking for performers for MOASA 2015.
MOASA is an annual showcase that is held in NYC. It is an independent production that focuses on independent businesses, performers and artists. 100% percent of the funding for this project comes directly from the team, Rude T.ee V.ee Productions LLC.
MOASA will be only picking five of the best performers this year and Unheard Voices has the opportunity to choose one. Here’s where you the artists who have been for asking for opportunities come in.
*Why MOASA? :*
The purpose in this project is to give artist opportunity and a little leverage. We look for the best of the best who are over looked and under appreciated and give them a chance to be heard. We do not hold physical auditions. We never have. What we do is allow artist to submit their best work and we hand pick who will be apart of the lineup every year.
*How are artist selected? :*
The selection process is based on professionalism, stage presence, content and social media activity. We want beast to hit ourstage. Nothing more and nothing less! Every artist needs to be able to be dedicated to this event!
*Why are you doing this? :*
We do this because we know its hard as an artist. We know getting the things needed to promote yourself cost SO much. We do it because we understand what it feels like to be so amazing but overlooked.
This is the final month to submit. All we can’t stress enough that we are ONLY looking for the best. All genres and art forms are welcomed. We also feature live painters so if you are a painter or graffiti artist please submit as well.
How to submit for MOASA 2015 consideration:
To submit please send an email to [email protected] subject line : MOASA with all the requested information below. Please be aware that failure to follow the directions means you *WILL* be overlooked. Deadline is June 20th.
**1. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE N WORD IS NOT PERMITTED IN THIS PRODUCTION. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN A $150 FINE.2. All details of the event will be released to those who are chosen to be apart of MOASA 2015. Those who are not chosen will not hear a response back as we receive numerous submissions and will not be able to get back to everyone.**
*Please respond with the following:*
*- 2 Photos*
*- Bio*
*- Links to ALL active social media*
*- Video of you performing live or music videos*
*- 2 songs*
*- Age (Performers MUST be 21+)*
*- Other places you have performed in the past year.*
*- Why you would like to be apart of MOASA 2015.*
Please attach to the email as much as possible. Anything like Reverbnation will NOT be accepted.
ALL performers are expected to promo the event DAILY. ANY artist who does not pull their weight WILL be removed from the lineup. Any performer who can NOT maintain punctual communication will be replaced. All contracts must be signed and submitted with the $25 fee before moving forward or receiving any details about the event.
