Ghana Session: Ultimate Characters: Real or fiction or both!
Just recently Mr. Wronko had a video conference with the students from the Solid Rock Foundation school in Ghana. The topic was Ultimate Characters: Real or Fiction or Both!
The above image was just for fun showing the Cretaceous Warzone meet Godzilla vs Kong.
Black Panther
This topic was presented by the use of a power point presentation. It began with Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther. We discussed that even though the Black Panther was fiction, Chadwick Boseman was a real ultimate character who brought to life everyone who he played regardless of his dire condition. Chadwick Boseman was an ultimate real character who would be missed but most importantly remembered forever.
King Leonidas
The next ultimate character we discussed was King Leonidas. King Leonidas was a real ultimate living character who led 300 Spartans against a massive Persian army at the Battle of Thermopylae. This character appeared to be fictional and something you would see in a Dungeon and Dragons game. But he was real and not afraid to meet his end in which he did when he fought at the Battle of Thermopylae.
Alexander the Great
After King Leonidas, the presentation introduced Alexander the Great. We discussed like King Leonidas, how Alexander the Great appeared to be a character out of the Lord of The Rings or Game of Thrones novels. He also could of been an inspiration that led to the creation of He-Man and The Masters Of The Universe toy lineup. However, Alexander the Great was also a real ultimate character who also fought the Persians. Alexander the Great never lost a battle and was a brilliant military strategist of his time.
Peter Francisco
Peter Francisco was next on the list. We discussed how Francisco was a real ultimate character who fought in the American Revolution.
One thing that made him look fictional was that he was supposed to have lifted a cannon weighing over 1,000 pounds onto his shoulder and carried it off the battle field so the British would not get it.
The students found that hard to believe that someone back in the time of the American Revolution could of been that strong. But history told it to be true.
After Peter Francisco was a pro wrestler by the name of the Ultimate Warrior. We discussed that the Ultimate Warrior was a fictional character but played by a real person by the name of James Brian Hellwig. Mr. Hellwig made this character come to life.
We also noted that Mr. Hellwig started to believe he was in fact the warrior in real life.
Ultimate Warrior
The Ultimate Warrior was a wrestling world champion and also had his own comic book.
A clip that I showed them also had a character that was a living giant that could of been believed to be fictional, which was Andre the Giant. The clip was a wrestling match between Andre the Giant and the Ultimate Warrior.
Like the Ultimate Warrior, another wrestler who was fictional and used face paint and a mask, also fun to watch was Luchasaurus played by Austin Matelson.
This ultimate character looked like a living comic book. We also discussed how he resembled the Marvel Comic Book character Devil Dinosaur and his partner Moon Boy because Luchasaurus also had his own character named Jungle Boy, played by Jack Perry, sit on him to ride off into battle.
The Undertaker
Finally, the last character under Ultimate Characters: Real or Fiction or Both, was the Undertaker. Like the Ultimate Warrior, the Undertaker was a fictional character played by Mark William Calaway. Mr. Calaway made the Undertaker invincible and unbeatable.
This character also had wrestling matches with the Ultimate Warrior. Besides the Ultimate Warrior, the Undertaker had fun wrestling matches with another fictional character named Kamala played by James Arthur Harris who recently passed away.
Clips shown during this session and little extra.

Online romances get a dose of reality in OWN’S all-new love & relationship series ‘The Never Ever Mets’
Hosted by Ta’Rhonda Jones, this 10-episode series features seven couples who have been virtually dating for some time and believe they may have found lasting love – only they have never met each other in person.
OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has announced an all-new relationship series that takes online dating into the real world, The Never Ever Mets.
About The Never Ever Mets Series
Hosted by Ta’Rhonda Jones, this 10-episode series features seven couples who have been virtually dating for some time and believe they may have found lasting love – only they have never met each other in person! Now, they’re meeting face-to-face for the very first time and sharing a house together for three weeks to see if their internet love can survive off the screen and in real life.
Synopsis
As all seven couples convene under the same roof, dating in person rather than through their computers or phones quickly proves to be the biggest challenge yet.
While many couples have been years in the making, some quickly find the in-person relationship is not what they anticipated.
To test the strength of their love connections, the group participates in a series of fun and flirty relationship activities, couples therapy and for some, a trip to the “boom boom room.” But visits from discerning loved ones, meddling opinions and tension from others in the house challenge their bonds even further. At the end of their stay, some will go home together…and some will be signing off for good.
Premiere
The series premieres on Friday, April 19 at 8pm ET/PT, on the OWN Network.
