Lee, originally from Jacksonville, Fla., became a standout personality on the CBS reality series. She gained attention for her bold gameplay, strategic instincts, and energetic presence. Fans praised her authenticity and competitive spirit throughout her time in the house.
Health Crisis Sends Former Big Brother Contestant Mickey Lee to Intensive Care
According to a GoFundMe by family, Lee experienced multiple cardiac arrests and required immediate intensive care. Medical teams stabilized her, yet her recovery will take time and significant resources.
Her family said she has remained surrounded by loved ones and specialists. However, they noted that the sudden crisis created emotional and financial strain as hospital bills continue to grow.
The GoFundMe notes that the family faces “mounting hospital bills and ongoing recovery costs.” It went on to say the situation has left them seeking community support during an extremely difficult period.
How Supporters Can Help
The GoFundMe campaign aims to help cover expenses not supported by insurance. Organizers listed ICU care, rehabilitation, specialist treatment, and family travel among the most urgent needs. They emphasized that every contribution will directly support Lee’s care.
The family also encouraged supporters to send prayers, positive messages, and healing thoughts.
A Memorable Run on ‘Big Brother’ Season 27
Lee competed earlier this year and quickly became one of the season’s most talked‑about houseguests. She entered the house as an event curator and creative professional based in Atlanta. Her charm and competitive drive made her a memorable figure among viewers and castmates.
Season 27 concluded on Sept. 28 with New York attorney Ashley Hollis winning the grand prize. Lee reached day 59 before her eviction, placing near the middle of the season’s rankings. Although she did not reach the finale, she remained a fan favorite for her bold approach.
