4‑year‑old Kansas City boy hit and killed by Amazon driver in hit‑and‑run
A Kansas City family is mourning the death of 4‑year‑old Tadens Joseph, who was hit and killed by an Amazon delivery driver.

A GoFundMe page has been created for the family of 4‑year‑old Tadens Joseph, who was struck and killed by a delivery vehicle working for Amazon earlier this month in Kansas City, Missouri.
Police said Tadens was hit around 6:30 p.m. on May 4 in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood. The van belonged to a third‑party company contracted to make Amazon deliveries, according to the Kansas City Police Department.
Beloved 4-year-old hit and killed
Investigators said that an Amazon delivery vehicle had just finished dropping off a package when it struck Tadens.
KCPD said the driver stopped briefly but left before officers arrived. A family member chased the vehicle, but police said the driver denied involvement and drove away.
Tadens died from his injuries.
KCPD said person of interest was taken into custody for further investigation.
Family Remembers Tadens
Relatives described Tadens as a joyful child who loved school, Spider‑Man and pizza. The family recently immigrated from Haiti and speaks very little English, according to loved ones.
The GoFundMe aims to help cover funeral costs and support the family as they grieve the sudden loss of their son.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for GoFundMe verified to Unheard Voices the authenticity of the fundraiser for Tadens Joseph’s family.
