The bodies of Armani Kelly, Dante Wicker, and Montoya Givens were purportedly found under a pile of debris in a vacant Highland Park apartment building.
Kelly, 38, Givens, 31, and Wicker, 31, were slated to perform at Lounge 31 on Jan. 21. However, the event was canceled due to equipment issues.
Police said Kelly picked up Wicker and Givens on the way to the gig. Afterward, Kelly’s vehicle was found in the Queen’s Court apartment complex in Warren, parked backwards. The license plate area was covered in mud, and the plate was missing, investigators said.
Police confirmed Thursday that a 15-year-old has been charged in connection with possessing Kelly’s vehicle, reports the news outlet.
The youth was arrested last week at an apartment complex in Warren, Michigan authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing and this news is breaking. Stay tuned as more details emerge.
