It has been over 20 years since Davis was convicted of the 1989 murder. Yesterday, the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole denied clemency for the death row inmate.
Supporters flooded the Georgia prison where Davis was located. They protested and held signs in hopes to save Davis from death.
His Last words
Reports state Davis’s last words were him maintaing his innocence, sent his condolences to the McPhail family, and urged his family to continue to fight.
