Hip-hop duo Clipse, 2 Chainz, Tobe Nwigwe to Headline Chicago’s 2023 Hyde Park Summer Fest

Hyde Park Summer Fest, a two-day music festival that celebrates Chicago culture, has announced their 2023 headlining acts: hip-hop duo Clipse, 2 Chainz and Tobe Nwigwe.

Hyde Park Summer Fest returns

Taking place June 17-18, 2023 at Midway Plaisance Park (Map) in historic Hyde Park, music and culture fans alike will witness exciting live performances from Uncle Waffles, Terry Hunter, Twista, Shawnna, Do Or Die, Crucial Conflict, Vic Mensa and Jonathan McReynolds. More artists will be announced.

As a Black-owned, community-centric event, Hyde Park Summer Fest has become a staple in Chicago’s south side community, known for supporting local small businesses, schools and providing economic stimulation and job creation.

In 2022, the event donated $75,000 in proceeds to five area high schools, created nearly 200 temporary jobs in the community, and encouraged participation from over 50 local small businesses, and expects to surpass these accomplishments with this year’s festival.
