GoFundMe launched for LSU student after crash that caused severe facial injuries
According to the GoFundMe page, Marrier was involved in a serious crash and is receiving care in the Trauma Care Unit at a local hospital.
A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support LSU student and cheerleader Sianna “Sisi” Marrier, who was severely injured in a car accident while driving back to campus earlier this month.
The fundraiser, created by her family, is drawing rapid support from the LSU community as she begins a long medical journey.

According to the GoFundMe page, Marrier was involved in a serious crash. She is now receiving care in the Trauma Care Unit at LSU Health.
The family wrote that Marrier survived the accident without broken bones or organ damage. They described her condition as a blessing, noting that “by the grace of God, Sisi did not break a single bone; her organs are functioning well, and her blood pressure remains strong.”
However, the impact caused severe fractures to her face, which will require extensive medical intervention.
First of Many Surgeries Begins for Sianna Marrier
The fundraiser states that Marrier entered an all‑day surgery on Friday, February 20, involving multiple specialists. It marks the first of several procedures needed to reconstruct her face and airways.
Her family says they believe “God has already determined a powerful testimony and outcome for her healing.”
LSU Community Rallies Around Sianna Marrier
The GoFundMe update highlights the overwhelming support Marrier has received from LSU leadership, athletics staff, trainers, and her cheer coach.
“Sisi is surrounded by people who deeply care for her,” the family wrote.
Rising Costs Drive Fundraising Effort
The Marriers say the financial burden ahead will be significant. The GoFundMe campaign seeks help with:
- Medical expenses
- Rehabilitation
- Long‑term care needs
They describe the coming months as “challenging both emotionally and financially” and ask supporters to stand with them as their daughter heals.
“Your support, whether through donations or prayers, means the world to us all,” the family wrote. “Together, we are believing for complete healing and restoration for this angel.”
