An official close to the Florida State Attorney says George Zimmerman will be charged with shooting unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin.
An official close to the Florida State Attorney says George Zimmerman will be charged with shooting unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin.
According to the Washington Post, special prosecutor Angela Corey is expected to make an announcement as early as Wednesday afternoon.
Corey told reporters Tuesday that she would hold a press conference about the case within 72 hours.
The announcement of the charge comes a day after Zimmerman’s lawyers withdrew from the case. They stated they have lost contact with their client.
