Loc Journey: Self Reflection: The Journey into Openness and Light
This journey we call life takes bends, turns and sometimes you don’t expect the drops you receive but it’s all orchestrated.
This journey we call life takes bends, turns and sometimes you don’t expect the drops you receive but it’s all orchestrated. YOU must allow yourself to be led down the path laid for you. Throughout the different experiences that I find myself recently encountering, I’m becoming open and spiritually lead. I’m open to the whisper of my creator and listening to the words that are being said. Being aware of the various energies everywhere that take on many forms, and ingesting those in your life is the key.
Energy, Connection, and the Stories We Carry
One thing may not mean the same to another, which is why the creator made us different in every way possible. As to be able to connect with one another, and pool those energies together in order to see we are on the same plane. But someone may be able to use their inner energy, to help you in some way along your path. This I’ve begun to truly take in and visually see, because everyone has a story, including myself. Allowing yourself to release that energy, may help someone but you’ve got to be vulnerable enough to do so. That is the trick and key to it all!
Honoring the Light Within
Breathe in the universe and honor what is inside of you with all its beauty and flaws. The energy within the shell is vast and unites us. Honor that within yourself by passing that knowledge within your universe. For we are only here a brief moment, and I feel this is one aspect that we tend to overlook. The light that is within us has been placed there and meant to light another’s way. So that the sun may shine for others, and they may see clearly for themselves.
When Your Locs Become Part of the Journey
At this stage of my journey, my hair has taken on a mind of its own in many ways. The length, the shape and even the texture. Yes, dreadlocks have that…hey, our hair is different to. My dreadlocks have begun to take on their own personality but are also a part of my existence. I find myself with my hands in them many times a day, as if they possess their own energy and give that power to me through my fingertips. I’ve embraced what they are becoming, and although I don’t know what’s the end result…I’m learning to LET GO!
Embracing the Energy That Crosses Your Path
Along the path to “self” you must at some point embrace other energy, take the time to evolve and don’t fight it. This causes frustration within your spirit and things become out of balance. This will be felt and exhibited within your life in many ways, and you won’t even realize how you got there. So be open to whatever crosses your path…there is a reason.
