Asbury Park High School: Memorial Day 2026 and Esports Lab update
Mr. David Wronko’s Asbury Park High School honor students gave presentations on memorial day and important individuals who served.

In honor of Memorial Day, Mr. David Wronko’s Asbury Park High School honor students conducted a Memorial Day Seminar.
Asbury Park High School Memorial Day
Students gave presentations on many important individuals who served and should always be remembered.
Attending guests included:
- Ed Johnson, former mayor of Asbury Park and current professor at Brookdale Community College and Rutgers University
- VFW veterans Wilbur V. Martin, George Reed, Doris Richardson, Charles Grant, and Mike Lee; and Tina Watson, daughter of Tuskegee Airman George Watson.
Esports Lab Update
In the DC comic books, Batman obtained a mechanical Tyrannosaurus rex for his Batcave after defeating multiple villains on Dinosaur Island. The towering mechanical T‑rex became a signature Batcave souvenir.
That idea inspired the Esports Lab when the Cretaceous Warzone met the Batcave. Mr. Wronko, director of Esports, envisioned a gigantic
Bruhathkayosaurus poster at the lab entrance — a dinosaur “souvenir” for Esports competitors.
10th‑grader Andrileidy Ramirez
To bring the concept to life, Asbury Park High School 10th‑grader Andrileidy Ramirez led the design project. Her creativity and artistic direction produced a full‑sized Bruhathkayosaurus illustration, now proudly displayed for gaming competitions.
