DURHAM, N.C. — A new Wu‑Tang Clan concert documentary will screen at The Pinhook on April 15 as part of 3 Chambers’ ongoing Wu‑Tang Wednesday series. The event will raise funds for Skin & Bones Theater, a new independent arthouse cinema planned for downtown Durham.

Organizers said the screening aims to support local film culture while celebrating the group’s long‑standing influence on hip‑hop, classical music, and martial arts cinema.

It documents the group’s performance with the 60‑piece Colorado Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

During the show, the Clan performed songs from their group and solo catalog as a live score to a real‑time screening of The 36th Chamber of Shaolin. The martial arts classic shaped the group’s aesthetic and inspired the title of their debut album Enter the Wu‑Tang (36 Chambers).

Documentary Breaks Genre Boundaries

Organizers said the film challenges assumptions about classical music and hip‑hop. It highlights how both genres can merge with film to create a unified artistic experience.
