OWN has ordered two new Iyanla Vanzant television specials after the unscripted series Iyanla: The Inside Fix premiered as the No. 1 cable program among African American women on Saturday night.

The network said the show’s early performance confirms strong demand for transformational content and strengthens OWN’s position as the top cable network for Black women on Saturdays.

Iyanla Vanzant Specials

The series launched with high engagement and drew viewers seeking emotional clarity and community‑centered storytelling. Because of that response, OWN expanded its partnership with Vanzant, an Emmy‑winning spiritual life coach and longtime network figure.

Production Begins in March

Production on the two specials begins in March. Vanzant will meet with people in crisis before a live studio audience. Each special will explore family conflict, community healing, and the deeper emotional patterns that shape personal transformation.

The network said the specials will continue the themes that helped The Inside Fix resonate with viewers nationwide.

Vanzant Describes the Series as a “Ministry of Healing”

Vanzant said the audience reaction reflects a growing desire for truth and emotional restoration.

“The response to The Inside Fix has been nothing short of a blessing,” she said.

“The series is a ministry of healing. Each story, each tear, each moment of truth is a sacred encounter with the human soul. When one soul speaks its truth, the frequency of truth expands through the collective. When one heart is cleansed, the vibration of wholeness ripples outward. Those who watch are not bystanders; they are participants in the collective healing process for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world. It is not about fixing your life. It is about freeing your soul. No more surface solutions. This is where truth becomes transformation.”
