BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Former Nickelodeon actress Kianna Underwood, known for her role on All That, died Friday, Jan. 16, after a hit‑and‑run crash in Brooklyn.

She was 33.

Hit and run claims life of Former Nickelodeon actress Kianna Underwood

Underwood was crossing Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville around 6:50 a.m. when a black Ford SUV struck her, according to the New York Police Department. Moments later, a black and gray sedan hit her as well. Both drivers fled.

She died at the scene.

Police Say Both Drivers Fled the Area

Authorities said the drivers did not stop or call for help. Investigators found Underwood’s body with severe trauma near Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue.

  • No arrests have been made
  • The NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad is leading the case
  • Police say the investigation remains active

Sources said investigators believe Underwood may have crossed against the light after leaving a nearby bodega. They also noted that the first driver may not have seen her in the roadway.

Television and Voice Work

She appeared on the final season of All That in 2005, joining a cast that included Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Kenan Thompson. She also voiced Fuschia Glover in Nickelodeon’s Little Bill for 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004.

Her film credits included according to IMDB:

  • “The 24 Hour Woman” (1999), where she acted alongside Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean‑Baptiste and Patti LuPone

Underwood also performed on stage, spending a year touring nationally as Little Inez in Hairspray.

Early Life and Relocation to Los Angeles

Born in New York City, Underwood later moved to Los Angeles to continue her acting career, according to online biographies.

Investigation Continues

Police have not identified either driver involved in the fatal crash. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the NYPD.
