Do The Right Thing, one of Black America’s and Hip-Hop’s favorite films, comes to a book including photographs, and a look into its cultural impact.
The 1989 film is widely remembered for the cultural impact in the hip-hop community and its look at racial disparities.
The Spike Lee film featured a revolutionary soundtrack including “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy.
Do The Right Thing is coming to a book written by Spike Lee and Jason Matloff.
Available this holiday season along with a DVD, the book will feature unreleased photographs, interviews, and information.
The book will also look at the racially-charged impact 21 years ago, including being the focus of a first date of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
