NBA preseason cancelled, more games in jeopardy
As talks between NBA owners and players continue, fans are wondering if there will be a NBA season this year.
Professional basketball fans are wondering if there will be a season this year as the NBA preseason has been cancelled.
NBA preseason cancelled
NBA owners locked out players in July when the old contract expired, and agreements have not been made on a new one. The players received 57 percent of basketball-related income within the last year of the expired agreement. The owners want to minimize that share down to 47 percent.
If an agreement is not reached by Monday, they may cancel the first two weeks of the regular season.
