Larry Cunningham, singer in the R&B group The Floaters, has passed away. He was 67.
Larry Cunningham, singer in the R&B group The Floaters, has passed away.
He was 67.
Reports say that Cunningham had been suffering from health issues over the last four years and had been hospitalized in Tucson, Arizona for chest pains in December.
Starting as a quartet in the 1970s, The Floaters had one crossover hit in 1977 entitled “Float On”. Memorable for its bass line, “Float On”, ultimately climbed to the top of both the Pop and Soul charts.
