A GoFundMe has raised more than $78,000, surpassing its initial goal of $35,000 for “That’s So Raven” Dad, Rondell Sheridan.

The fundraiser launched this week in an effort to cover medical costs for the actor amid his pancreatitis battle.

Rondell Sheridan hospitalized; GoFundMe started

Sheridan said he fell ill while on the road on April 10 and paid a visit to the hospital, where doctors thought it was a “gastric” problem.

He returned home two days after his initial hospitalization, only to “immediately” head back to a hospital on April 12 and and was diagnosed with pancreatitis after many tests.

The actor said he was in the hospital for nine days.

“I got released and I thought I was on the road to recovery,” he said. “My pancreas is inflamed and there’s not much you can do about it but just wait for the inflammation to go down.”

Sheridan, 66, is best known for playing Raven Symoné’s father, Victor Baxter, on the Disney Channel hit show “That’s So Raven,” and in the spinoffs “Cory in the House” and “Raven’s Home.”

He appeared on “Tea Time with Raven and Miranda,” Symoné’s podcast with her wife, Miranda Maday, on April 3, only a week before his first hospitalization.

Sheridan has been out of work since April 12 and will mostly remain bedridden during his recovery, according to the GoFundMe page.

“If we can all come together to help him financially for his medical and monthly bills while his body heals, I know this will be one giant stress we can collectively take off his shoulders, so that he can focus on resting, recovering, and healing,” the GoFundMe description reads. “Every little bit helps and he appreciates you immensely.”
