A New Jersey couple is experiencing a rare 1-in-700,000 quadruplet pregnancy, a natural miracle that has transformed their lives overnight, according to doctors.

Rare quadruplet pregnancy

Emmanuel and Asia Volmar were already parenting a 9-year-old. Mom is a USPS employee. Dad drives trucks across the country. Life was busy and hardworking. Then a routine ultrasound changed everything.

The Orange, NJ couple is now expecting natural quadruplets — a rare 1-in-700,000 pregnancy.

Plans for one baby turned into prep for four. One bassinet became four cribs. Onesies by the dozen replaced a single layette.

“We were prepared for another baby,” the couple wrote on their GoFundMe page, “but this completely unexpected blessing has turned our world upside down — in the most beautiful, chaotic way.”

GoFundMe campaign launched

Now facing an emotional whirlwind of joy, anxiety, and awe, the Volmars are rallying their community for support.

A GoFundMe has been created to help with the rising costs and the demands of raising four newborns simultaneously.

They’re seeking help to offset medical expenses, transportation needs, and everyday essentials.

Quadruplet pregnancies carry significant risks and require extensive prenatal care, making Asia’s journey one that’s both precious and delicate. But the couple is focused on gratitude, faith, and staying grounded through the coming months.

If all goes well, the Volmar household will soon echo with the cries — and laughter — of five children, as this everyday family turns the page on an extraordinary new chapter.
