Students Graduate From First Semester of Unheard Voices Internship Program

Unheard Voices would like to congratulate Mr. Watkins and Mr. Jones for graduating from the Unheard Voices Fall Semester Internship program.

Unheard Voices internship program gives interns the opportunity to work directly in the field of media communications.

Watkins and Jones dedication, hard work and commitment to Unheard Voices is what UV’s program all about.

Both will continue their second semester of the Internship program and work directly towards of continuing to learn how to run an online magazine and to fulfilling their dreams of running UV’s radio show.

Keep up the good work and UV looks forward to continue to work with you next semester.

Keith Covin is a computer scientist, educator, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges academia and activism. In 2004, he founded Unheard Voices to amplify underrepresented perspectives and ensure his community's stories were not only told—but truly heard. A proud alumnus of Rutgers University and Fairleigh Dickinson, Mr. Covin holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and African Studies, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Science. In recognition of his unwavering commitment to equity and community empowerment, Mr. Covin has received honors from the NAACP (Unsung Hero), the State of New Jersey, and Neptune Township.
