Kendrick Johnson's Body

The family of Kendrick Johnson demands answers and will not stop until they get them.

Attorney’s for 17-year-old Kendrick Johnson’s family has filed a petition asking a judge to order an inquest into their son’s death.

Kendrick Johnson was found dead in a rolled up gym mat in his high school gym.

The official Georgia Bureau of Investigations report says Johnson died of asphyxia. The family believes otherwise.

A new autopsy conducted by a private medical examiner said the teenager died from blunt force trauma.

In addition, new surveillance video shows Johnson was not alone in the gym around the time of his death as authorities stated. The video hasn’t been released because authorities say they don’t have consent from the other teens in the video.

Investigators previously released surveillance video showing Johnson, apparently alone, inside the gym the day his body was found.

“Someone murdered him. They should be in jail. They are covering up… they should be in jail,” said Kenneth Johnson, Kendrick’s father.
