Spiritual Rejuvenation at Soul Tabernacle City of Refuge
Unheard Voices would like to introduce its readers to our newest UV category called the Gospel.
First as the founder of Unheard Voices, I would like to introduce the UV family to our newest category called The Gospel.
This category exists because people need a way to share their gospel with others around the world.
The love of the gospel and the Lord will lift anybody’s spirit and soul.
For this reason we have dedicated this section to all our avid gospel fans.
Soul Tabernacle City Refuge Church
Unheard Voices first stopped at the Soul Tabernacle City Refuge Church in the The Bronx, NY.
Minister Todd Brown invited me in September 2014 to worship with his congregation, led by Pastor Dr. Derek A. Roberts.
I felt genuinely honored to fellowship at the Soul Tabernacle City of Refuge during its 11th Church and Pastoral Anniversary in the Bronx, NY.
What a rejoiceful time it was!

Spreading The Gospel at the Soul Tabernacle Church in the Bronx NY
Dr. Derek A. Roberts delivered a sermon titled “I Believe I Can Fly.”
Spiritual Rejuvenation
His focus message was on being happy and learning how to fly by using the Eagle. Dr. Robert’s metaphorically used the bird to show that Eagles are independent creatures and learn how to take care of themselves at an early age and that we should do the same in the eyes of God!
When it is time it is time! The Eagle would push his baby out of the nest which shows a form of independence from the family.
The mighty Eagle will not fall but will glide and fly like no other bird. Pastor Robert advised his congregation to “Get up on the wings of the Eagle and learn to fly. Be satisfied with what you have because God knows your needs.
All you have to do is wait on him! Because man will disappoint you every time but God is always on time. God is omnipotent, magnificent, a caring and forgiving God. He knows the importance of family and is there with you in good times and in bad. ”
The crowd caught the holy spirit and really showed their emotion and connection with God.
It was absolutely awesome spiritual rejuvenation moment.
I loved the morning service so much that I came back to the afternoon service to fellowship again.
The spirit of God had move me so much that I just couldn’t get enough of God’s love and spirit that was being delivered by Pastor Roberts.
