He was found dead in his family’s Silver Spring, Md., home early morning by his mother.
Gbmnews reports, Scott’s work ranged from doing coverage for a LGBT-oriented website called The Future Forward, to online video series such as Vantage Point, to promoting legendary LGBT parties such as OCEAN at Splash.
Scott also established himself as a producer, creating We Are The Media, which showcased rising stars of color.
During his career, Scott traveled the world, visiting Africa and South America to enrich his artistic vision, and raise awareness of the lives of people from other cultures. “I’m first and foremost a writer,” Scott reflected, “But I’m also much more than that.”
Nathan “Seven” Scott most recently became an author publishing the book “My Turn: The Knight Affairs Trilogy”, about a reporter who gets his dream job in New York City, and discovers more than he bargained for.
