About Marvel’s Wonder Man
Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, Wonder Man follows a Hollywood stuntman whose audition for a superhero role spirals into a surreal journey of real powers and identity crisis. The teaser shows Williams smashing a table with his bare hands, hinting at the emotional and physical toll of his transformation.
Meta Superhero Storyline Takes Center Stage for Wonder Man
The series blends satire, action, and psychological drama, offering a self-aware twist on superhero fame. Williams isn’t just playing a hero—he’s becoming one. The teaser also features Sir Ben Kingsley reprising his role as Trevor Slattery, adding MCU continuity and comic relief.
Set to premiere in December 2025, Wonder Man is part of Marvel’s Phase 6 and is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. The show promises to explore themes of ambition, authenticity, and the blurred lines between performance and reality.
