$10,000 reward offered in search for missing Philadelphia woman Kada Scott
23-year-old Kada Scott vanished on Saturday October 4.
The family of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old Philadelphia woman missing since October 4, has announced a $10,000 reward for credible information that leads to her safe return.
Timeline of Disappearance
Scott vanished on Saturday, October 4 after she left her shift at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill. Her car remained parked at the nursing home, but she did not leave in it. Authorities confirmed she stayed at work for only 20 minutes.
Suspect Charged in Connection
On Tuesday, police arrested 21-year-old Keon King. He now faces kidnapping charges related to Scott’s disappearance. Authorities announced the charges during a Wednesday press conference. King remains in custody on $2.5 million bail.
Police believe Scott met Keon King shortly after leaving the facility. Investigators say King was the last person in contact with her. Cell phone data shows he traveled with Scott’s phone before it went offline.
Officials confirmed Scott and King knew each other, although the nature of their relationship remains unclear.
Prior Allegations Against King
King also faces a separate kidnapping charge from January 2025. Prosecutors say he abducted and assaulted another woman before releasing her. That case was dropped in May when the victim failed to appear in court.
Before vanishing, Scott told loved ones she was being harassed. It’s unclear whether she referred to King.
GoFundMe Campaign Launched
To support the search, Scott’s father Kevin launched a verified GoFundMe titled “TIME IS CRITICAL — Kada Scott is still missing.” The fundraiser aims to raise awareness, fund search efforts, and support the reward. “Every dollar strengthens our ability to bring her home,” Kevin Scott wrote.
Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities immediately.
