Missouri father reportedly killed for reporting daughter’s alleged sexual assault
Prosecutors say Lavor Harmon, Anthony L. Young, and Anthony D. Young conspired to silence Warren, then killed the gunman they recruited.

FERGUSON, Mo. — Three men have been indicted in the July 8 murder of Kcoree Warren, a Ferguson father who was shot and killed after reporting the alleged r-pe of his 15-year-old daughter.
Missouri Father killed for reporting daughter’s r-pe allegations
Prosecutors say Lavor Harmon, Anthony L. Young, and Anthony D. Young conspired to silence Warren, then killed the gunman they recruited. All three face six charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and tampering with evidence. Harmon also faces charges of statutory r-pe and sodomy.
Sexual assault allegations
Warren had reported Harmon to police in May. Ten days later, Harmon’s sister allegedly offered Warren $12,000 to stay quiet. He refused. Authorities believe Andrew Klaus shot Warren through the glass door of his home. They found Klaus dead the same day and later discovered the getaway car burned.
Investigation into Kcoree Warren’s killing
Officials say the investigation involved multiple agencies, including Ferguson police, St. Louis County and City police, the FBI, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Prosecutors have not ruled out murder-for-hire charges.
Warren was a beloved father. His neighbor described him as a devoted father and “the best kind of neighbor.”
All three defendants are being held on $2 million bond. Harmon remains in county custody. The Youngs are in federal custody on unrelated charges.
