A family in Orange, New Jersey is mourning again after a deadly Thanksgiving day fire has claimed another life.

Frantz Fleury, the father rescued from the blaze, died Sunday at the hospital, according to a GoFundMe post for the family.

His daughters, Frantzia Fleury, 49, and Pojanee “PJ” Fleury, 42, initially escaped but reentered the burning home to save him.

Sisters Remembered for Courage and Devotion

Loved ones described Frantzia as a proud Marine and dedicated x‑ray technician known for her compassion and strength.

PJ, remembered as the creative force behind Brown Eyes magazine, touched lives with her vision and artistic talent.

Relatives emphasized both sisters’ devotion to family. Each leaves behind one child now facing life without their mother.

Funeral Service Planned for Saturday

A funeral service for Frantzi, PJ, and now Frantz is scheduled for Saturday, bringing together family, friends, and community members, the GoFundMe said.

Officials declared the home uninhabitable after the second‑floor blaze.

Investigation Continues Into Cause of New Jersey Thanksgiving day fire

Authorities confirmed the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office continues to seek information.

Officials urge anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact the prosecutor’s tip line at 1‑877‑TIPS‑4EC or 1‑877‑847‑7432.
