Chalaine Scott of Connecticut posted video showing Bell carrying her 2‑year‑old through the crowded restaurant. She served tables while keeping the child smiling. The moment quickly spread across social media, drawing praise for its warmth and humanity.
GoFundMe Campaign Launches
Scott created a GoFundMe titled Blessing Bell to thank the waitress. The campaign has raised more than $7,700 toward its $10,000 goal. Nearly 400 donors contributed, hoping to deliver Bell a special holiday gift.

Scott said Bell’s kindness reminded her that heroes do not always save the world. Sometimes they simply save the day. The viral video highlighted how small acts of compassion can inspire communities and uplift weary travelers.
