Atlanta man accused of operating illegal dental veneer practice
Prosecutors say he earned more than $4 million since 2021 by charging thousands for veneers and training others.
Brandon Dillard of Atlanta has been indicted on 113 charges for allegedly performing cosmetic dental veneer procedures without a license.
Prosecutors say he earned more than $4 million since 2021 by charging thousands for veneers and training others.
Background of alleged illegal Atlanta veneer specialist business
In early 2024, the State Dental Board issued Dillard a cease‑and‑desist letter. However, he continued performing veneer procedures despite the order. Court records show the charges cover procedures from 2021 through 2024.
Prosecutors’ Allegations against proclaimed Atlanta veneer specialist
Deputy District Attorney Will Wooten emphasized that Dillard has never been a licensed dentist. “He may want to play one on Instagram, but he is not one,” Wooten said.
Legal Context
Importantly, Georgia law does not recognize veneer specialists or technicians. Only licensed dentists can legally perform veneer procedures in the state.
Next Steps in Court
Dillard’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for January. Prosecutors allege he profited by offering veneer services and training programs that misled clients.
