Bishop Eddie Long Fourth victim comes forward
Twenty-two-year old parishioner Spencer LeGrande, a member of New Birth Charlotte, says his relationship with Long began when he was 17 and included trips to Kenya and South Africa where they engaged in sexual activity. According to his lawsuit, the pastor told him, “I will be your dad.”
Other plaintiffs
LeGrange is the fourth man to come forward ever since the original plaintiffs, Anthony Flagg and Maurice Robinson, accused Bishop Long of sexual coercion. Long has denied the charges and is asking supporters for patience “as we continue to categorically deny each and every one of these ugly charges.”
Long is expected to step down from his ministry this Sunday.
