Michael Brown’s parents to speak at United Nations Conference

The parents of Michael Brown are headed down to Switzerland to speak at the United Nation Human Rights Conference.

Michael Brown’s parents will be headed to the United Nations (UN).

Not much news has been reported out of Ferguson after the funeral of Michael Brown and news truck have found it’s way home. Though the media frenzy has died down, the fight for justice has not.

Brown’s parents are headed down to Switzerland to speak at the United Nation Human Rights Conference.

Michael Brown Sr. and Lesley McSpadden are slated to address the 53rd Session of the United Nations Committee Against Torture in Geneva on Nov. 12 and 13.

A Saint Louis University law professor is helping to organize the trip and has solicited online donations for the couple’s travel expenses.

The trip comes as a St. Louis County grand jury prepares to conclude its inquiry in to the August 9th shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson officer Darren Wilson.
