American Airlines flight attendant Danasia Elder dies in D.C. plane crash
Danasia Elder is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and leaves behind her husband and two children.
Danasia Elder has been identified as one of the flight attendants on the American Airlines flight that was landing at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

Elder is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and leaves behind her husband and two children.
Her brother-in-law described his beloved sister as “full of life,” highlighting her love for God, her kids, and travel.
A GoFundMe has been created to help her family during this difficult time.
Crew and passengers
The other flight attendant onboard has been identified as 52-year-old Ian Epstein, who was also from the Charlotte area.
The pilots were 34-year-old Jonathan Campos and 28-year-old First Officer Samuel Lilley.
The entire crew was among the 67 passengers killed as the flight coming from Wichita, Kansas was set to land.
The tragic collision stands as the deadliest commercial aviation disaster in the U.S. in over 15 years.
