U.S. Virgin Islands announces dates for 2025–26 Crucian Christmas Festival in St. Croix
Scheduled to take place from December 26, 2025, through January 3, 2026, the annual event will showcase the cultural heritage of St. Croix through music, food, and community engagement.
The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism and the Division of Festivals have announced the official dates for the 2025–26 Crucian Christmas Festival.
Scheduled to take place from December 26, 2025, through January 3, 2026, the annual event will showcase the cultural heritage of St. Croix through music, food, and community engagement.

This year’s theme, “Timeless Traditions in Every Mix,” reflects the festival’s commitment to honoring longstanding customs while embracing contemporary influences. The program will feature several hallmark events, including the Princess and Miss St. Croix Pageants, Calypso Monarch and Soca Monarch competitions, and the island’s signature J’ouvert celebration.
About Festival Village
The Festival Village will host nightly entertainment from December 29 through January 3. Attendees can expect free performances by local, regional, and international artists. In addition to music, the village will offer culinary experiences, local crafts, and family-friendly activities.
Lap Village
Parades will take place in Christiansted, with the Children’s Parade scheduled for January 2 and the Adults Parade on January 3. The festivities will conclude with fireworks during Last Lap Village Night.
Commissioner of Tourism Jennifer Matarangas-King extended an invitation to residents, visitors, and members of the Virgin Islands diaspora.
“St. Croix’s culture is one of vast pride and diverse distinction,” she stated. “This year’s festival will again deliver unforgettable music, food, and entertainment while celebrating the traditions that make our island so unique.”
