I’m a daddy’s girl and I couldn’t imagine life without my father now as an adult and even when I was a child. Growing up I realized that my reality was not a reality in everyone’s home. Not every girl experienced being ‘daddy’s little girl’.

Dear Daddy documentary explores fatherless young women.

I’m a daddy’s girl and I couldn’t imagine life without my father now as an adult and even when I was a child.

Growing up, I realized that my reality was not a reality in everyone’s home. Not every girl experienced being “daddy’s little girl.”

About Dear Daddy documentary

The documentary by Janks Norton, documents young women writing letters to their fathers and reading the letters on camera. The filmmaker then tracks down the fathers where the inevitable happens. The tearful reunions bring together the father and daughter, with the fathers explaining what happened.
