What an exciting time for the gladiators
Gladiators during the time of the Roman Empire would battle to the death. They would also fight huge animals such as lions and tigers.
Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor
Now this month we have two gladiators fighting for dominance and they are Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.
Floyd Mayweather the dynamic boxer taking on the dynamic ultimate fighter Conor McGregor.
Besides being similar to Roman Gladiators, this bout is almost very much like Achilles fighting Hector from the Trojan War. The question is who will be Achilles and who will be Hector. Achilles won the fight. Now will Floyd Mayweather be Achilles and Conor McGregor Hector or will Conor McGregor be Achilles and Floyd Mayweather Hector?
Thor Ragnarok
Even though the movie has not come out yet, Thor Ragnarok can be used to make a comparison to this bout between Mayweather and McGregor.
In Thor Ragnarok, Thor will battle the Hulk in some alien arena similar to the Roman Gladiators.
Who will win this battle? Who will Floyd Mayweather be like from this movie, Thor or the Hulk? Who will Conor McGregor be from Ragnarok, Hulk or Thor?
