Zab Judah has spent nearly two decades beating opponents in the ring, but now the boxing champion has a different fight – helping older patients and teaching a nursing class.
Zab Judah now works as a nursing assistant
The former boxer works at Excelling Nursing Academy in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he recently graduated with a certification in nursing assistance and is now teaching a class of students studying to get CPR certified and First-Aid trained.
He works with Dementia and Alzheimer’s patients
The four-time world champion mainly works with patients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s, TMZ Sports reports. He does everything from catheters to taking vitals and has become a favorite of patients, staffs, and students.
“To touch another’s life brings out the true Champ in me!” He wrote on Instagram. “I have grown to humble myself and in return it’s appreciated by our students. Congrats students you all are my Champs!”
