Popular YouTube dating series Pop The Balloon will be coming to Netflix with a live version.

Pop the Balloon Live will be the reimagined version of the digital series that will air every Thursday at 8pm ET from April 10.

In the dating experiment, singles test their chemistry while trying to keep their balloon intact. As connections form and tensions rise, one thing is certain: when your balloon pops, so does your shot at love. The Netflix version will be hosted by Insecure star Yvonne Orji.

“I know a thing or two about looking for love in a hopeless place. Hopefully the singles on Pop The Balloon Live will have much more success. As host, I’m looking forward to striking that delicate balance of heart and humor for our daters and the Netflix audience at home,” Orji said in a statement.

About the series

“Pop the Balloon or Find Love” YouTube series was brought to life by multimedia producer and musician Bolia Matundu (BM) and his wife, Arlette Amuli, a beauty and lifestyle creator.

The couple have run the successful series for two years with 48 episodes. A new episode is released every Wednesday on Arlette Amuli’s YouTube channel, which has garnered over 100M views.

Pop The Balloon on Netflix will also feature reality stars including Johnny Bananas (The Challenge), Chase DeMoor (Too Hot To Handle), Farrah Abraham (Teen Mom), and Zaina Sesay (The Ultimatum).

It is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Sharp Entertainment, which is behind TLC’s hit franchise 90 Day Fiancé.

Bolia Matundu and Arlette Amuli are executive producers as well as Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Bonnie Biggs, and Ellen Rocamora.
